Solar.Com RFP – Conejo Valley Group Buy Program

Solar.com is launching another solar Group Buy Program in specific targeted markets in order to aggregate latent demand for residential solar power systems and provide bulk pricing on equipment procurement and solar panel installation to a specific geographic region.

This Request for Proposals is for solar power installers to provide a pricing structure quote for the supply of:

  • Materials Procurement
  • Permitting
  • Final system design (preliminary design provided by Solar.com)
  • Labor
  • Commissioning
  • Rebate processing (if applicable)
  • 20+ year Workmanship warranty

The Solar.com and Group Purchase program staff will perform all:

  • Marketing
  • Advertisingconejo simi map-1.png
  • Outreach and Workshops
  • Preliminary System Design
  • Sales
  • Populate and Send Contracts To Installer and Customer to Sign

This program’s geographic focus will be the cities listed below:

  • Thousand Oaks
  • Westlake Village
  • Oak Park
  • Agoura Hills
  • Newbury Park
  • Simi Valley
  • Moorpark

Solar Group Buy Schedule

  • Installer RFP Responses Due – Tuesday, March 14th at 11:59 PM
  • February 15th, 2017 – Program Marketing and Sign Up Period Starts
  • April 15th – Program Sign Up Period Ends

Best Customer Clause: During time scheduled time period listed above only, Solar.com requires installers provide Solar.com with best customer pricing for this geographic region.  No customers (end consumers, resellers, fulfillment partners, etc.) shall receive pricing that is more favorable than this program.  This shall only apply to projects up to 10kW.

This pricing will be publicly shared via the website, workshops, marketing material.  No representatives from Solar.com will offer this pricing outside of this geographic region or this program time period. Solar.com’s dedicated website for this program will include the upfront pricing, the logo of the selected installation partners. Only two of Solar.com’s partners will be selected for this program.

Minimum System Size: 2.5kW
